Cloud Engineer Role
As Cloud Engineer you’ll have responsibility for the Cloud strategy and solutions.
Day to day this will involve working with the development team to provision availability of products in the Cloud, selecting the right tools to invest in and designing and implementing technical solutions.
But this is far more than a bog-standard Cloud Engineer role – it requires a passionate individual who is capable of taking ownership of the whole Cloud function. This involves implementing sound architecture practices to design scalable and robust solutions and processes, including DevOps practices, security and compliance.
We need a creative individual who has a true passion for the Cloud, who’s driven by the art of the possible. You’ll bring a consultancy mindset to the role, an appreciation for what will bring the biggest benefit to customers

Cloud Engineer Requirements
In order to do this role, you’ll need to have strong commercial experience of a Cloud based role. This may have been from an Engineering or DevOps route, or perhaps moving on from a SysAdmin background.
This would ideally be within AWS, but Azure could also be a possibility.
Certification is pretty important, as is being able to demonstrate a strong professional interest in the different services which are available – a key part of the role is setting Cloud strategy so you’ll need to be able to advise on the best tool for the job!
