We have a fantastic role for a Business Analyst who has a passion for working closely with users and stakeholders.You’ll be working within newly established delivery teams on a variety of changes and projects – no two days will be the same – with the knowledge that the work you and the organisation does directly and positively impacts the lives of millions of people across the UK.

Business Analyst role

  • You’ll be joining at a time of exciting change as the organisation transitions to fully Agile delivery

  • You’ll work within an Agile delivery team, working closely with users to shape their requirements

  • You’ll be an excellent communicator, be great at building lasting relationships, and have a desire to get out there and see how the organisation functions

  • You’ll be supported by a strong team and empowered to take responsibility for your area

  • You’ll have a real appetite for continuous improvement, always spotting opportunities to improve process

  • You’ll be a ‘considerate disruptor’ – be able to build bridges, push and cajole as appropriate

  • You’ll be proactive and innovative, eager to develop yourself and the team around you, and in return be valued, listened to and challenged

Business Analyst Skills and experience

  • You’ll be an established Business Analyst

  • You’ll be curious to learn about how the business and different teams function

  • A strong facilitator, you’ll able to run effective workshops, and also elicit requirements through variety of other means

  • Experience in prototyping and playback sessions to user groups

  • A strong communicator who values face-to-face interaction with users

  • Agile experience highly desirable

  • Confident and proficient in various requirements elicitation methods (e.g. workshops, interviews, etc.) and strong skills in requirements management, documentation and elaboration

  • Able to talk to technical and non-technical people (and be understood by both)

  • You’ll be driven by ‘making things better’ and challenging the status quo

  • You’ll have an analytical mind and be detail-focused

Salary is c.£37,000 + health + pension + 24 days’ holiday + family-friendly, flexible working environment
