We are working exclusively with one of the UK’s most exciting software companies to find them an exceptional Business Development Manager.

This role would suit a commercial individual with experience of technology or technical solution sales into national SMEs, and who is able to set and deliver a sales strategy.

Business Development Manager role

  • Joining a disruptor in the tech industry to define and deliver a UK sales strategy

  • Providing a intelligent software solution to SMEs

  • We’re not looking for a cold-caller, rather a sophisticated approach involving events, conferences and technical pitches

  • Using your technical knowledge to provide the right solutions for clients that make a real difference

  • Build up relationships with clients, and progress them to longstanding, loyal accounts

  • In time, you’ll progress to Sales Director

Business Development Manager required skills

  • Intelligent, solution-based approach

  • Excellent software knowledge and able to communicate this in an accessible way to potential clients

  • Experience of gaining and building relationships with CTOs, CEOs and IT Directors within SMEs

  • Able to open doors, but also set an ambitious, robust and achievable sales strategy

  • Ambitious and excited by working for a disruptive start-up

The company

Innovative tech start-up with a world-class software product.

Based in Leeds, with national travel.

On offer is a basic salary of up to £50,000 with uncapped commission. Company car and pension is also included.
