An opportunity has arisen to join a growing organisation in the centre of Leeds, currently undergoing a massive period of transformation. You’ll have the opportunity to make your mark on an established team, implementing and guiding best practice, coaching, mentoring and developing team members, as well as remaining hands-on in strategic analysis.

Business Analyst Team Leader role

  • You’ll be responsible for the timely delivery and quality of your team across a number of changes, projects and programmes that have a positive impact on people’s lives in the UK
  • You’ll build a network of strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and be a ‘go-to’ person for change related matters
  • You’ll be constantly seeking new ways to improve your team’s standards, output, quality, effectiveness and working environment, brining your own ideas with a steel to see them through
  • You’ll work with individuals to help to improve their performance and to grow to fulfil their potential
  • You’ll be responsible for setting goals, and measuring performance against them
  • You’ll be part of a wider management team looking to improve the way the organisation works
  • You’ll be a great listener, taking in views from your team, colleagues and stakeholders
  • You’ll be able to focus on the detail, but remain able to see the bigger picture
  • You will be driven by outcomes rather than process, and be prepared to throw away conventional wisdom where a better idea exists
  • You’ll need to be able to juggle and be organised (but never be bored)

Business Analyst Team Leader Skills and experience

  • BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or similar
  • Previous experience in developing and managing successful teams and/or improving failing ones
  • Experience working as a Business or Systems Analyst on projects from conception to delivery
  • Fantastic communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ideally, you’ll have previously worked in an Agile environment

Salary is up to £45,000 + excellent benefits package, including true 35 hour week, 24 days’ holiday, rising to 29, pension, health scheme
