Business Analyst role

  • You’ll be joining a well-established BA function, well-respected by the business
  • You’ll be running workshops with business teams to map out existing processes, and capture new requirements
  • You’ll be an expert of unearthing tacit knowledge and understanding underlying needs, and feeding this into the requirements where appropriate
  • You’ll be helping to deliver a massive transformation programme, helping the organisation achieve ‘more for the same’
  • You’ll have a real appetite for continuous improvement, always spotting opportunities to make things better today than they were yesterday
  • You’ll be a ‘considerate disruptor’ – be able to build bridges, push and cajole as appropriate
  • As part of a strong, sociable BA team, you’ll be proactive and innovative, and in return be valued, listened to and challenged
  • You’ll be passionate about technology-enabled change and be an ambassador for transformation throughout the business

Business Analyst Skills and experience

Must have:

  • Experienced Business Analyst with strong process mapping or systems integration experience
  • You’ll be able to use structured methodology to document requirements and break down into user stories
  • Able to talk to technical and non-technical people (and be understood by both)
  • Exceptional stakeholder management experience, with the ability to handle challenging characters and have difficult conversations
  • You’ll be a bona-fide problem solver, with an analytical mind and be detail-focused
  • A positive, driven attitude towards change

Should have:

  • Prior experience of implementation/integration of new CRM systems would be beneficial
  • Experience within financial services would be useful
  • Agile exposure highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of a formal process mapping technique (e.g. BPMN) would be a huge bonus

The company

Well-established organisation, with a track-record of investing in their people and promoting from within. The head office, based in Leeds City Centre, hosts a large on-site operations team, so you don’t have to go far to speak to your stakeholders. You’ll be operating in a sociable and friendly team, with people who value the work they do, and the difference it makes.

They actively promote a flexible working, family-friendly policy, with a GENUINE 35-hour week.

Genuinely competitive Salary + bonus + health + pension + holiday + family-friendly, flexible working environment
